Nick Hastaba
I've been in Nashville for 30 years where I obtained my Master's Degree in Accounting at Belmont University in 2015 and received my CPA license shortly after. Before starting my consulting business; I worked in healthcare for 8 years.
During my time in the healthcare industry, I maintained the books for over 40 surgery centers around the nation. In addition to maintaining the books, I also managed:
- Cashflows
- Payables
- Budgeting/Forecasting
- Financial Statement Preparation and Analysis
- Inventories
- Onboarding new centers
- Reconciliations (Bank, Balance Sheet, AR)
While it provided me with quite a bit of experience; I began contemplating if the corporate life was for me and the idea of being my own boss was gaining momentum in my head. I decided to launch my financial consulting firm in April of 2021 and have not looked back.
I specialize in working with small to medium sized businesses getting ready to scale. Helping to build and maintain a strong accounting infrastructure that can handle the growth to come. Many business owners are bogged down by daily tasks that take time/energy/focus away from the bigger picture. My goal for business owners is to limit the time spent on administrative tasks such as accounting, payables, etc. and provide them the necessary tools so they can focus on value added activities like driving top line growth.
